Stacy is a summa cum laude graduate of Emerson College (Boston) in Communications, Political Science and Law, and a magna cum laude and Order of the Coif graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School. She practiced law at Jenner & Block (Chicago) and Greene Espel (Minneapolis), representing corporate and governmental clients. She has practiced in environmental law, intellectual property, banking, employment discrimination, land use, products liability, toxic tort, construction law and criminal law. She counseled clients on various regulatory matters, including financial services, health care, and occupational safety and health.
